Scholarship aid provides Simeon Poles '17 the ability to explore the most fulfilling jobs after graduation—not just the most lucrative. "The scholarship I received changed the game for me. When I graduate, I'll have the flexibility to pursue career opportunities in either the public or private sector." Poles knows that the generosity of Villanova Law alumni and friends makes scholarship aid like this possible. "That generosity inspires me to be as successful as possible so that I can give back and make the dreams of future Villanova Law students a reality." Mary Salvucci '13 ClaS, '17 VlS had always envisioned attending law school. Her dedication and hard work earned her admission to Villanova Law and Ivy League law schools alike, but her plans were nearly derailed when she was diagnosed with a rare, degenerative eye disease. The financial burden of Salvucci's condition is considerable and adding student loans wasn't an option. "Villanova Law believed in me and my potential. Receiving a Dean's Merit Full Scholarship allowed me to pursue my dream, during one of the hardest periods in my life." 4
